In this webinar hosted by our partner Immucor, NYU Langone Transplant Institute’s Immunogenetics Laboratory Director, Massimo Mangiola discusses the PIRCHE technology, its applications and its impact on the future of transplantation diagnostics.
The human immune system is amazing! Here we explain the major components of epitope matching and why they are important in transplantation medicine.
In this session, Eric Spierings, inventor of the PIRCHE concept, and Matthias Niemann, PIRCHE Director of Technology, introduce the epitope matching landscape, showing firstly how the PIRCHE algorithm integrates into the wider context of existing epitope matching models and secondly explaining what makes it different from other models with which you may or may not already be familiar.
To give you a practical insight into how PIRCHE matching is applied on a case by case basis in the solid organ transplantation setting, a case study is also presented to show how PIRCHE matching may be applied in kidney transplantation. The session is rounded out by presenting some recent insights into PIRCHE epitope matching.
Special thanks to GenDx for inviting us to your webinar series.
In collaboration with our partners at Immucor, PIRCHE Director of Technology, Matthias Niemann, is on hand in this session from the virtual 2020 ASHI conference to walk you through the ins and outs of our exciting PIRCHE SOT RAMP (Solid Organ Transplantation Risk and Acceptable Mismatch Profile) module. What is RAMP? How does it work? What makes it so great? Watch this presentation to find out all of this and more.
In this presentation, Matthias Niemann, Technical Director of PIRCHE, explains the ways of HLA allorecognition and shows the differences between the known HLA epitope matching methods. He summarizes the clinical findings around HLA epitope mismatches and finally clears up common misunderstandings about epitope matching.
Special thanks to Omixon for inviting us to your webinar series.
In the first Webinar of our series, we give an overview about the PIRCHE matching technology and its application in stem cell transplantation and solid organ transplantation. We pinpoint the most important publications and how the algorithm is translated into a useable toolsuite. In the second half, we dive into the web app giving you an overview of how to use the service.
